Hello 1st-6th Grade Rec Parents--

Thanks for registering your player for MTSC's Fall Rec program!  We're looking forward to seeing you at the fields this week.

Check-In:  Normally, we start Fall Rec on a Saturday, but because of the calendar this year, we're starting a little early.  We will not check you in during the week; your player can just go onto the field.  We will check you in on Saturday (please come 10-15 minutes early this Saturday for check in).

Uniforms:  We will have a uniform for you on Saturday when you check in.  If you won't be there this Saturday, that's OK, we'll give it to you next Saturday.  Until you receive a uniform, any shorts/sweats/shirt will do.

What to Bring:  Players should bring a water bottle and wear T-shirt/uniform shirt and shorts (long sleeves and sweats when the weather is cool).  Players should wear cleats, shin guards, and soccer socks  Please, no jewelry, for safety reasons.

Location:  Weekday sessions will be held at Lubas Field; Saturdays at the Mill Pond Soccer Complex, on Field #3 (at the far end of the main parking lot). 

Parking:  We use Lubas during the week because it has lights. The downside is that parking is very tight.  Please park carefully -- please don't leave a big space next to you, and please pull all the way up.  Please do not block the driveway by idling to drop off / pick up.  Please go to a parking spot!

Times:  Note that we will NOT have Rec Bonus Sessions on Mondays this fall due to space and coach constraints.  Please try to arrive a few minutes early, so players can say hi to their friends and are ready to start at the session time.

1st Grade BOYS:
Thursday 5:00 - 6:00: practice
Saturday  11:00 - 12:00:  scrimmages

1st and 2nd Grade GIRLS:
Thursday 6:10 - 7:10: practice
Saturday 11:00 - 12:00:  scrimmages

2nd Grade BOYS:
Thursday 7:15 - 8:15: practice
Saturday 11:00 - 12:00:  scrimmages

3rd- 4th Grades:
Wednesday and Friday 5:00 - 6:30: practice
Saturday 12:00 - 1:00:  scrimmages

5th- 6th Grades:
Wednesday and Friday 6:45 - 8:15: practice
Saturday 12:00 - 1:00:  scrimmages

Session Calendar:  all sessions will continue through Saturday, November 18, except no sessions Thurs 11/9 , Fri 11/10, or Sat 11/11 for Teacher's Convention Weekend.

Weather:  If we need to cancel a session due to weather, we'll notify you by email, text and on the web site by 3pm weekdays or 8am Saturday. 

Enabling Text Notifications:  You will receive an email next week with instructions on how to set up text notifications. To receive texts, you must follow the steps in that email... this is to prevent us from text-spamming you.

Missed Sessions:  There is no need to notify anyone if you will miss a session.  We do not offer makeup sessions...we set the nonprofit fees with an assumption that some sessions will be missed or cancelled due to weather.
