Spring Break Camp for 2024 will meet Monday - Wednesday, April 1-3, from 9am - 1pm at Mill Pond Soccer Complex. The fee is $ 150, which includes all 3 days of the camp. Thurs and Fri April 4-5 are now school days. If there are any further school snow days, we'll adjust the schedule accordingly.
During school breaks, MTSC offers day camps for 1st - 8th graders that provide an informal, fun, supervised way for players to get some extra playing time and hone up on skills.
Camps are supervised by the same great licensed, certified coaches that run our Rec and Travel programs, at a fraction of the cost of a typical camp program.
Camps run from 9:00 - 1:00, weather permitting. Players should bring their own snacks and plenty of water. The typical session consists of:
8:45 - 9:00 - Arrival
9:00 - 9:15 - warm up games
9:15 - 10:20 - Session 1 - Technical practices & skill sessions
10:20 - 10:30 - Break
10:30 - 11:40 - Session 2 - Skill developments and functional practices
11:30 - 11:40 - Break
11:40 - 1:00 - Small-sided matches
1:00 - Parent Pick up
All age groups register together, but the coaches will ensure that your child has fun with other kids about the same age.
Registration is for all of the days of the camp for that break. All activities are outside at Mill Pond Soccer Complex, so in the event of inclement weather, camps will be cancelled for the day and prorated fees refunded. Therefore, we advise that you not use the camp for guaranteed day care, but rather a way to keep the kids active and outside with their friends.
