Each winter, MTSC travel teams have additional playing opportunities at Iron Peak Sports in Hillsborough. These are only open to those players that are already registered for our travel teams - not Rec! Participation is optional, and at additional cost... these winter programs are NOT included in the annual travel registration fee. (For our Ocelots and Pumas (High School) teams ONLY, these ARE included in your annual fee; there is no need to register for this).
There are 3 optional programs this winter OKCC Team Scrimmages is $ 100 and runs for 7 weeks. Team indoor practices and Goalkeeping (NEW) are $ 195 each and run for 8 weeks. You can register for one or two or all three, as you prefer.
1. Team indoor practices: These will be held weekly, Jan 8th through Feb 29th in the Iron Peak Turf Room (turn left as you enter the building) or on the Iron Peak Futsal Court (go straight as you enter the building).
Registration is now open to our travel team players. On Nov 15th, if we do not have enough players from a given team, we will (a) combine teams for the winter, or (b) cancel your winter registration and refund the winter fee.

2. OKCC Team Scrimmages: Fee is $ 100 for 7 Sundays (Jan 14 - Mar 3, except Feb 18). Team Scrimmages will be run at OKCC (Otto Kaufman Community Center) gym on Sundays. They will be Futsal based pick up scrimmages of 4v4 / 5v5 games with rotating teams each week and an MVP award at the end of the season.
NOTE Since this is a gym, players should wear sneakers or indoor non-marking shoes, not cleats.
To register, please log into your MTSC account, click on the "Programs Available" button next to your player's name, and select "2024 Winter TRAVEL PLAYER scrimmages at OKCC". (Note: if you had registered for the Iron Peak league, you will be receiving a separate email from the MTSC President).

3. NEW Goalkeeping Clinics with Coach Matt: MTSC's new Goalkeeping Coach, Coach Matt, will be holding clinics on Wednesdays, Jan 10-Feb 28, in the Iron Peak dome. Younger players will meet at 5:00; older players will meet at 6:00 or 7:00 (your choice, so as to avoid conflict if your team has a Wednesday practice).
