Choosing the Soccer Program that is right for your child

Which program to choose?

Generally, if your child has expressed interest and is likely to engage (even if she/he has not played soccer before), we recommend Pre-Travel because it provides the multiple weekly sessions necessary to build your child's skills and confidence, and the time together to allow your child to become friends with other players.  If your child is very young, has not played a sport before, or is focused on another sport this season, Nippers may be a better choice, since it only has once-a-week sessions.

If your child has participated in Pre-Travel for 1 or more seasons in the past, we highly recommend registering for a Travel Program tryout, since this will allow her/him to play with more experienced players, play games against other clubs with professional referees, and really understand the game by focusing on one or more positions and practicing game tactics and strategies on a regular basis.  While we hold regular Travel tryouts each April for the following year, you can register anytime (free) and we'll contact you to set up a tryout time.  Questions?  Just ask our Director of Coaching at [email protected].

A more detailed comparison of the programs is shown in the table below.  Specifics on this season's dates, times, locations, fees, etc. for a program can be found by clicking the button on the home page for that program.  When you're ready to register your child for a program, click on "My Account" above, then "Register Now".  If you don't have a login ID yet, please click Log In above and set up an account.  This will allow you to register and will add your name to our email list so we can keep you up to date on important Club information.
