The Spring 2013 YDP season will begin with a new parents' meeting (for parents new to YDP) Tuesday, April 2. The first practice for U8/U9/U10s will be Wednesday, April 3 and the first practice for U6/U7s will be Thursday, April 4. The season will be eight weeks in length, weather permitting.

U6s & U7s train on Thursday nights from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. U6/U7s will play their games on Saturday afternoons 2:30 - 4:00 PM.

U8s and U9s train on Wednesday and Friday nights from 5:30 - 7:00 PM and play their local games on Saturday afternoon 4:00 - 5:30 PM (unless traveling).

Any travel opportunities will generally occur on Saturdays and are optional. Games times may differ from regular home game scheduled times. Note: If a majority of the eligible age group is traveling and there are insufficient numbers remaining locally for a meaningful game day, local games for that age group will be canceled. 

Optional ball skills training is offered on Monday nights for all YDP ages. Optional goal keeper training is also offered on Monday nights for U8 and U9 boys and girls. Times are as follows:

5:00 - 6:00 PM U8 - U10 Goal Keeper Training

6:00 - 7:00 PM All YDP ages (U6, U7, U8, U9 & U10s) Ball Skills Training


Location

All training and home games are held at the Mill Pond Complex at the corner of Mill Pond Road and Dead Tree Run in Belle Mead. Large Field #3 is the primary YDP field. 


Uniforms and Equipment

Players should wear their numbered practice T shirt to all practices. Players should wear their uniforms to games on Saturdays. Shin guards are required and cleats are recommended. No jewelry should be worn. If player wears glasses, sports safety glasses are strongly recommended. As a minimum, players wearing glasses should have a head strap to ensure their glasses stay on. Finally, player should always bring their ball and water to all practices and games.
